Shipping & Delivery Policy
Solar World Canada supplies solar equipment across Canada. Shipping and pickup options depend on the product, quantity, stocking location, destination and carrier availability.
Online Purchasing and Freight Orders
Eligible orders may be purchased online through the Wix store using Square. Review the delivery or pickup option and the complete total before paying.
Equipment prices do not include freight, delivery, protective packaging or applicable taxes unless those charges are expressly included. A $0 freight-quote placeholder does not mean free shipping.
Solar panels, batteries, full pallets, large inverters, long racking and other oversized or heavy equipment may require a separate freight arrangement. For an order requiring freight, contact us before payment. We confirm equipment availability, shipping origin, delivery requirements, protective packaging, freight and applicable taxes in an itemized total for your approval before payment.
If the website does not offer a suitable delivery method or a confirmed complete total for your order, do not select an unrelated shipping or pickup option to proceed. Contact us with the product, quantity and delivery postal code.
Parcel-Size Equipment
Smaller electrical components, monitoring equipment, charge controllers and accessories may ship by parcel carrier where available. Eligibility and cost depend on package weight, dimensions, product restrictions and destination. Only use an online shipping option that applies to the items and destination in your order.
Individual and Partial-Pallet Solar Panels
Qualifying individual or partial-pallet solar-panel shipments require protective pallet/skid packaging. A $95 CAD pallet / protective-packaging fee applies once per qualifying shipment, not per panel. We identify this fee in your agreed total before payment. This packaging fee is separate from carrier freight.
Products specifically listed as a Full Pallet are exempt from the $95 partial-pallet packaging fee because they ship on the manufacturer pallet. Full pallets still require freight.
Appointment Pickup
Pickup is available by appointment for eligible stocked products. Stocking locations vary by product. Wait until Solar World Canada confirms stock, that the order is ready, the pickup location, the appointment and any loading requirements before travelling.
Do not treat a business contact address or a supplier location as an unconfirmed walk-in pickup location. Bring a suitable vehicle, restraints and protection for the equipment.
Delivery Requirements and Charges
Tell us before a freight quotation is finalized if delivery involves a residence, farm, construction site, rural or remote destination, restricted truck access, limited-access location, appointment, lift-gate, inside delivery or other special service. Large shipments may require a forklift, loading dock or another suitable unloading plan.
Freight depends on the shipping origin, product, quantity, pallet requirements, destination, carrier and requested services. Additional carrier charges caused by incorrect delivery details, refused delivery, missed appointments, inaccessible locations, re-delivery, address changes, storage or customer-requested changes may be the customer's responsibility, as applicable.
Orders are released only after stock and arrangements are confirmed, payment has cleared and the agreed charges have been paid.
Shipping Timeframes
Delivery and transit times are estimates, not guarantees. Warehouse preparation, product availability, carrier schedules, weather, road conditions, terminal delays and remote destinations can affect timing. Carrier delays after release are outside Solar World Canada's reasonable control, subject to rights and obligations that cannot legally be excluded.
Receiving and Damage Inspection
Inspect packages, pallets and equipment on delivery. Note visible damage on the carrier's delivery document before signing whenever possible. Take clear photographs of the outer packaging or pallet, visible damage, affected product, shipping label and carrier paperwork.
Contact Solar World Canada within 48 hours of receiving a damaged shipment. Keep packaging, pallets, wrapping and other shipping materials until the claim or required inspection is complete. Failure to document visible freight damage at delivery may affect a carrier claim.
Refunds and Shipping Costs
Original shipping, freight, delivery, brokerage, pallet, handling and return-shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by applicable law or the charge resulted directly from an error by Solar World Canada.
Cancellation, return and refund eligibility follows our Return and Refund Policy and any applicable, properly disclosed supplier, freight or special-order commitments. Nothing in this policy limits a mandatory consumer right or remedy.
